Standby Generator Installation
Air-cooled and liquid-cooled units set on pad, wired, fueled and commissioned to the manufacturer's spec.

Standby generators and automatic transfer switches installed so the house rides through an outage without anyone dragging out an extension cord. Sized on real load data, permitted, and commissioned before we leave.
Utah licensed electrical contractor with Master-level scoping on every project.
We test and prove the fault before anything gets replaced, so you pay for the fix.
Clear arrival windows Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, and a crew that cleans up.
Permits, utility coordination and inspection sign-off taken care of for you.
Whole-house coverage or a managed critical-loads approach: furnace, well pump, sump, refrigeration, network and select circuits, without paying for a generator twice the size you need.
Air-cooled and liquid-cooled units set on pad, wired, fueled and commissioned to the manufacturer's spec.
Service-rated and load-center ATS installs that transfer within seconds and return to utility power on their own.
Load-shed modules for AC and ranges so a right-sized generator still carries a whole house.
We coordinate the gas line, pad and clearances with your plumber and the manufacturer's requirements.
Units that fail to start, alarm, or will not transfer diagnosed at the controller, the ATS and the fuel side.
Electrical permit, setback and clearance compliance, and inspection sign-off handled for you.
Generator installs fail on sizing and siting far more than on wiring. We settle both before anything is ordered.
We record actual demand, then decide with you between whole-house coverage and a critical-loads panel.
Placement for clearances, noise, exhaust and snow, plus the gas capacity check with your fuel supplier.
Pad, generator, ATS and feeders installed, with the transfer switch located so the house cuts over cleanly.
Full-load test, exercise schedule set, and we walk you through what the controller is telling you.

It depends on whether you want everything or the circuits that matter. A 14kW to 22kW air-cooled unit with load management carries most Utah homes including AC. Larger homes with two AC units, electric heat or a well often need liquid-cooled. We size from measured demand rather than square footage.
Critical loads cost less up front and cover heat, refrigeration, sump, well and lighting. Whole-house with load management costs more but nobody has to think about what is on. Both are valid; we price them side by side.
Typically two to three days of electrical work once the unit, pad and gas are ready. Permitting and equipment lead time usually drive the overall schedule more than field time does.
Yes. Oil, filters, plugs and battery on a schedule, plus a weekly self-exercise cycle. Batteries are the single most common reason a generator fails to start when it is finally needed.
Yes. A manual transfer switch or an interlock kit is a much cheaper way to power selected circuits safely and, importantly, keeps you from backfeeding the utility.
